What are people saying about "Voices: A Choreography Workshop"?
"VOICES was such a healing experience for me. I haven't danced full time since freshman year at college and thought I had lost my gift for movement. I didn't share this video (on social media) sooner because I felt like it wasn't 'perfect' enough. But I'm letting go of my perfectionist mindset so I can share my gratitude. Lindsay gave me the opportunity to feel the magic of dance again. Thank you for helping me find my voice." - Kassidy Walstad
* [After the workshop, Kassidy submitted a piece with another Voices participant, Elijah Hatch, at the Rocky Mountain Choreography Festival 2024 and their piece was awarded 2nd place Judges Choice and 1st place PEOPLES CHOICE.]
"VOICES was an incredible workshop and different from any others I've seen. The dancers were challenged to choreograph for themselves and others (some for the first time ever) and the results were multifaceted: increasing personal awareness on the dance floor, confidence in personal style and in the ability to assist others', insight into how and why they dance and perform, how to play into the strengths of particular dancers, and a great sense of camaraderie and unity among the dancers despite age and skill differences. This was a beautiful experience for everyone involved." - Erin Robbins (mother of participant)
"Thank you for loving my girl and helping her grow her voice! I have watched her dance about a million times and now seeing her dance her own work, I am in awe." - JeriAnn Leavitt (mother of participant)
"The opportunities you are offering dancers is unmatched. Can't wait for more!" - Elijah Hatch (Winner of Rocky Mountain Choreography Festival, 2025)
"One of the best opportunities! So excited for next year!" - Heidi Robbins
"Literally best week ever!" - Julia Stone
